Two Herbs That Improve Blood Flow, Healthy Blood Lipid

In today's world of plenty, our tables are fuller than ever. But a hidden danger is creeping up on us: thick blood (also known as "blood sludge").

Do you often feel dizzy, tired in the afternoon, or sleepy right after meals? These could be early signs that your blood is getting too thick.

Over time, thick blood can lead to real problems: high blood pressure, stroke, diabetes, heart disease… Many of these conditions start with thick blood.

Why is thick blood so common today?

From the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), thick blood happens when your body can't properly process the nutrients you eat. The "waste" (phlegm, fat, and toxins) that should be removed ends up building up in your blood.

Add to that a lack of energy (Qi deficiency). Your blood flow slows down, and waste accumulates even more.

Think of it like a river. If you throw in a little trash once in a while, the river can clean itself. But if you throw trash in every day, the river gets clogged.

As we reach middle age and beyond, our energy naturally declines, we move less, and thick blood becomes almost inevitable.

With so many cholesterol drugs, why is it still hard to lower blood lipids?

There are many cholesterol-lowering drugs on the market. They work, but they can have side effects over time, and they're often expensive.

More importantly, phlegm and waste stick to your blood vessel walls like chewing gum. If you don't clear them out at the source, the problem keeps coming back.

The TCM solution: Danzha Powder

In the world of TCM, there's a classic, affordable, and effective formula called Danzha Powder — a combination of Salvia (Dan Shen) and Hawthorn (Shan Zha).
Take one serving per day. For moderate to severe thick blood (with or without atherosclerosis), this is a great option. For mild cases or those at risk (family history of high cholesterol, or overweight middle-aged/older adults), half a dose is enough to help prevent thick blood.
