Yinqiao Jiedu Pian are a modern pharmaceutical preparation derived from the ancient and renowned traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formula "Yin Qiao San", first recorded in the medical text "Systematic Analysis of Epidemic Warm Diseases" by Wu Jutong in the Qing Dynasty (1798). This formula is a cornerstone of TCM for treating wind-heat type exterior syndromes, commonly known as wind-heat common colds or early-stage flu.

This formula skillfully combines herbs to disperse wind-heat and clear heat toxins:
Honeysuckle (Jinyinhua) and Forsythia (Lianqiao):
As the star ingredients in this formula, they work synergistically to effectively clear heat-toxins from the body, alleviating symptoms such as sore and swollen throat, fever, and headaches caused by heat-toxins.
Mint (Bohe) and Great Burdock Fruit (Niubangzi):
